Sales Results for May 2006

American Legend concluded the May 2006 auction today with an outstanding sale of Blackglama and American LegendTM females.
Led by strong support from the Korean market, Blackglama females sold at firm to slightly advancing levels compared to the American Legend February 2006 auction. Blackglama females also increased 25% in price compared to levels achieved one year ago.
American Legend Mahogany and Ranch Wild females also sold at firm levels compared to February. Buying was widespread but was led by Hong Kong/China.
The end of the year collection of International Mink was 100% sold at levels in line with recent international sales.
Demand for premium quality mink remained high at the American Legend May sale as over 230 International buyers in attendance competed aggressively for the last BlackglamaŽ and American LegendTM collection of the season.
Blackglama males sold 100% at averages that were firm to slightly off the high levels established during the American Legend February auction but were still 25% above last year's May levels. Mahogany and Ranch Wild males fell in line with the market trend and realized prices that were down 5-10% from February. Mutation males followed the same pattern but female prices remained high throughout the day. Breeder mink and Section III skins sold on Sunday at very strong levels in comparison to regular qualities.
